For me, that moment came after a car crash that changed everything.
I was in law enforcement — a job I loved, built around protecting others. But during my long recovery, I started to realize that the way I could help people was about to change.
While I was physically limited, I spent a lot of time thinking. And what became clear was this: people need protection not just in moments of crisis, but before those moments ever happen.
That’s where McMichael Benefits began.

My Mission Is Simple: Keep Families Protected Before Life Happens
After the crash, I made myself two promises:
1️⃣ Stay healthy for my family.
2️⃣ Help others do the same.
Selling insurance wasn’t part of the plan, it just made sense.
It gave me a way to ease the stress I’d seen so many people face when medical needs caught them off guard.
I’ve seen how fast life can change — unplanned pregnancies, addiction, heart disease, cancer, strokes, car crashes.
These moments are hard enough on their own, but without coverage, they can break families financially and emotionally.
That’s why I do what I do: to make sure no one I work with has to face those moments unprepared.
Today, I help individuals, families, and small businesses find coverage that makes sense — without confusion, without pressure, and without breaking their budget.
